Gonna be honest, there was no writing I was particularly excited to post about this week. There are a couple of things that I’m currently working on that I will be excited to show you, but not in time for this newsletter.

Book Búho

What I’ve been reading/listening to bc audiobooks let me do both. Yes, comics count.

• The Rules Do Not Apply by Ariel Levy – I do not remember why I picked up this book. I don’t remember reading the description, or even seeing a review on it. I just picked it up one day, and it was a profound read. It does have a depiction of a miscarriage, living with an alcoholic, and having an affair. Her unchronological writing makes for fascinating connections across her life. 
• Art Matters by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by Chris Ridell book – an encouraging read because it encourages art, but also has a couple of politically incorrect drawings that I was disappointed in.

• Cishet* men are trash.** I rest my case.

• *However, if you are a cisgender and heterosexual man and you agree that cishet men are trash, then, ironically enough, you are most likely not a trash cishet man. Shoutout to the two cishet men that receive this 🙂

• I bought my own stickers because sometimes RedBubble is a scam to creators, but they’re so pretty!

• Shout out to RJ (Instagram artist and Vocal Famous) for being the first person to buy one! 
• In a desperate attempt to minimize my Instagram feed, I made a new Instagram and they STILL suggest accounts to me ON MY FEED! A MENACE. A! S C A M!!!!!
• MY CURLS WERE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT ON TUESDAY AND I AM STILL MAKING SURE THAT EVERYONE SEES THEM. [pic to be added when I remember so best of luck]
