You Are Not Hard To Love

Hello all,

Today’s newsletter is sponsored by making new friends in a continuing pandemic! I hope you are all healthy and safe!

Prose of the Week

Suave YourSelf

I have pumped myself up this past week with a few of these songs. I wrote this for an Anti-Valentine’s Day playlist challenge, and I focused on loving yourself and remembering who the fuck you are, rather than the commercialism of romantic love. I include a link to the playlist at the end of the article 😉

Rabbitholes

Things I’ve learned, laughed about, and/or obsessed over

  • Setting up my next bullet journal for new organization techniques – if you ever want me to help you set one up PLEASE let me know bc I love iiiiit aaaand it is an obsesssssionandcopingmechanism
  • The background is Arcane, but that’s not the point
i feel uncomfortable around tall people what if they lick my head
  • The point is that tall people are suspicious
  • As my fellow The Killers fanatic, Sora, pointed out to our group chat today, “Mr. Brightside turned 18 this year,” so shout out to a real one, Mr. Brightside, which can also be seen in this playlist of mine

Personal Chisme

chisme = gossip

  • I have the beginnings of a plan for the next couple of years! For the first! Time! In! months!
    • 1. Get a full-time job.
    • 2. Research MFT vs. school psychologist programs.
    • 3. Attend Death Doula training.
    • 4. Make it back to grad school by Fall 2023.
  • I am usually cautious about sharing future plans, but I need more people to keep me accountable
  • My speedy descent into madness is being drilled in by Christmas pop music, on repeat, for 8 hours
  • My tiny tree!

I hope you take care of yourself this holiday season, and that you know

you are not hard to love cat and frog
